Newton provides the user with access to simulate run output data in graphical and text file formats. They include but are not limited to:

  • Plots of the target and missile trajectories.

  • The radar and/or seeker mode and its track point.

  • The countermeasure waveforms in angle, range and/or Doppler.

  • Displays of the radar/seeker mode.

  • Received signal powers.

  • Missile heading and missile lateral acceleration.

These output graphic options provide the user with valuable visual tools for interpreting the behaviors of the self-protection system, threat system, the effectiveness of the countermeasure(s), as well as target maneuvers on the weapon as fly-out occurs. A virtual reality display of the engagement is also available.

These graphics can be stored as files for archiving, future recovery, and further analysis.

Two important measures of effectiveness that all Newton products compute are miss-distances and probability of kill.
